ECA Scheme Changes

From 2nd August 2012, warm air heaters must have a nett efficiency of no less than 101% to be listed on the Energy Technology List and qualify for the Government’s Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme.

Although announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his budget speech on 23rd March 2012, the changes didn’t come into effect until 2nd August.

So for any product that was included on the Energy Technology List at the time of purchase, you can still claim Enhanced Capital Allowance.
